Frequently Asked Questions
How do I prepare for a session?
Wear comfortable, loose clothing you can move and relax in. Drink plenty of water before and after your session — hydration supports your body's natural processing and energy flow. And come with an open heart and mind. That's truly all you need.
What happens in the first session?
Your initial consultation is longer than follow-up sessions — up to two hours — because I take the time to really get to know you. We'll start with a conversation about what you're experiencing, what you'd like to shift, and what feels important to you right now. From there, muscle monitoring guides the session. There's no agenda other than what your body tells us it needs.
How will I feel after a Kinesiology session?
Many people leave feeling lighter, clearer and more settled in themselves. Others may notice emotions surfacing or subtle shifts over the days that follow. This is a natural part of the process — these feelings usually settle quickly, and I'm always available to offer support along the way.
In the days following your session I encourage you to trust your body, rest where you can, stay hydrated, and engage in any activities that feel nourishing and supportive — meditation, mindfulness, gentle movement or journaling can all help with integration.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person — and honestly, your body often has a say in that too. Some people notice significant shifts after just one or two sessions. Others find a rhythm of regular sessions helpful for ongoing support and maintenance. I'll discuss what feels right for you as we go, without any pressure.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes! Online Kinesiology sessions are available and can be just as powerful as in-person work. If you're not local to the Inner West or prefer to work from the comfort of your own home, online sessions are a wonderful option. Get in touch to find out more.
Where is the clinic located?
I work from a private clinic space in Seddon, Melbourne. The exact address is provided once your booking is confirmed. Street parking is generally easy to find during the day.
Is Kinesiology a replacement for medical care?
Kinesiology is a complementary therapy — it works beautifully alongside conventional medicine but does not replace it. It cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions. If during our work together it becomes clear that additional support would be beneficial, I'm happy to provide referrals to other health practitioners including doctors, dietitians and other allied health professionals.
What is your cancellation policy?
I understand that life happens — and I'll always do my best to be flexible. I kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
